We often have the habit that we always try to solve our problems ourselves, or even hold on to things/habits even though it is not good for us. My thought process was very often God I cannot do it I have to help him and when I did it went wrong most of the time.
It is a daily learning process to say father I come to you today and put you the day and also the people with whom I will have to do in your hand you guide my eyes, ears, my thoughts and my actions.I know from myself and from personal experience that this can be very difficult but I also know that the more often and the longer I do this, it will eventually flow out of me by itself and this honors Him.
He wants us to trust him completely and I think this has to be trained like a muscle. When you start to train you don’t look like a bodybuilder with a six pack no you have to train your muscles again and again and give them the necessary nutrients so they can do their work.
Romans 12:1-2 says that we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, which is your reasonable worship.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be changed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.
We should take these words to heart. Do not forget God is a gracious God and He is patient with us. He reaches out His hand when we fall and helps us up again.
Isn’t it great to be able to call someone Abba Father.
